Blondery Opens Nov. 1 for Thanksgiving Orders; Dec. 1 for Holiday Orders
Give a gift inspired by generosity:
Send decadent holiday boxes nationwide in November and December

Brooklyn, N.Y. (Oct. 1, 2020) —
Blondery, a direct-to-consumer virtual bakery specializing in a distinctive collection of blondies handmade by professional pastry chef Auzerais Bellamy and her team, re-opens Nov. 1-14 for Thanksgiving orders and Dec. 14-21 for winter holiday orders. Baked to order in Brooklyn and shipped nationwide, Blondery solves the essential question of what to give this holiday season when you want a unique and delicious gift for yourself or others.

As a diversion to a demanding career in fine dining, Auzerais spent 10 years refining her blondie recipe inspired by a childhood flavor memory of a pecan praline candy an older lady at her parents’ church gave her. When she finally captured that flavor and baking’s related spirit of generosity in a decadent blondie topped with pecans and salted caramel, she filled 500 orders in Blondery’s first holiday season. Blondery now has hundreds of regular customers including Bloomingdale’s, Netflix and Salesforce.

Every flavor is hand-made with a butterscotch base and carefully-sourced natural ingredients. Blondery’s holiday boxes are a curated collection of Blondery’s flavor memories and experiences — the original best-selling Pecan and Salted Caramel, the gluten-free Brooklyn Black-Out, the plant-based Sweet Potato and more.

Meet the Maker
Auzerais Bellamy grew up in Hayward, Calif., baking for her family and experimenting with recipes. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in pastry arts from Johnson & Wales and interned at Alain
Ducasse’s pastry school in France before a decade-long career in fine dining. She staged at Michelin-starred establishments The French

Laundry in California and Daniel and Per Se in New York and worked as the executive pastry chef at Brooklyn’s Pies ‘n’ Thighs and

Ducasse’s Benoit Bistro. In 2015 as the pastry sous chef at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery, Auzerais became frustrated with the lack of representation in fine dining and set out to change the industry. Auzerais found her soul as an entrepreneur and, as Blondery grows, is creating the supportive workplace she sought by hiring people of color and empowering them for careers in the restaurant industry.

Auzerais is a lifelong advocate for social change and recently donated half the proceeds from her Brooklyn Blackout Blondies to the Equal Justice Initiative as part of the nationwide Bakers Against Racism campaign.

Auzerais lives in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
